Hunched on the floor of our tiny walk-up apartment in Boston, I stared at a square canvas, infinite in its blankness, and started to paint.
Being my very first creation, “Boston” holds a very special place in my heart, and on our walls! Even after more than 20 years, this piece continues to remind me that nothing in the world happens by accident. And that every new blank canvas is an opportunity to create and discover.

Two primary colors aswirl, as if in contention for dominance. Yet not opposing as much as one yielding to the other in a playful dance, each happily giving turns in the spotlight. Separate yet together in translucent layers and joyful swoops across the canvas, the hues are in concert and harmony with each other, a welcome reminder that even in apparent disorder, the spark for equilibrium ever remains.
